Vance's School-Age Care (SAC) is an after-school care program for children ages 5-12 designed to assist active duty military personnel and DoD civilians perform their duties effectively with less concern for the well-being of their children. During school holidays, including summer, School-Age Care offers full day care for children. SAC is located inside the Youth Center.
To apply for care please visit www.militarychildcare.com or call 580-213-7474 for assistance. SAC strives to create an atmosphere that fosters competence and initiative by having clear, age appropriate expectations for children’s behaviors, thus encouraging children to explore the world.
UPCOMING PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

SAC promotes the cognitive, social, emotional, cultural, language, and physical development of children through programs and services that recognize differences in children and youth and encourages self-confidence, curiosity, creativity, self-discipline, and resiliency.
Activities are to include community service, health fitness and nutrition, STEM, Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) programing and 4H. Field trips and educational tours are scheduled periodically.
SAC offers a choices program where children can use their independence to choose what activities they want to participate in. Staff will help youth develop their social skills through problem solving and expressing themselves through socially appropriate ways.
