One of the most important things we can do for ourselves is to stay healthy.  One way to do that is to "know our numbers" by completing a biometric screening. The blood test will determine if you have Metabolic Syndrome. This is the name given to a group of risk factors that can set the stage for heart disease, stroke and diabetes.  Knowing your "numbers" - will allow you to take advantage of being able to take action now. By making healthy changes in our diet and activity levels, one can keep serious health conditions from developing and enjoy a better quality of life. Your DoD NAF Health Program provides support and resources to help our employees improve their numbers.
